Currently Living at: Sue Needs a Foster! 

Meet Sue! This adorable 2-year-old, 39-pound Shepherd mix girl is as sweet as can be! She is very kind and affectionate toward everyone she meets! Although Sue gets along well with other dogs, we haven't had a chance to see her interact with kids or cats yet. If you have either, let us know, and we'll find out more.

Sue has a great, graceful, energetic personality and will need mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis. She loves playing with other dogs at the shelter and can't wait to make new friends in DC. 

Sue may no longer be a puppy, but she will need a committed owner to provide training and exercise to help her be a well-behaved dog.

Sue is dreaming of finding a warm and loving forever home! All she needs is a caring person or family to give her all the love and care (and treats!) she deserves!

Like most shelter dogs, Sue may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.

FOSTER UPDATE: Sue is SO sweet!  She loves to cuddle and constantly has a big doggy smile.  It is hard to take a picture of her because her whole body wags along with her tail :-)  She walks pretty well on her leash, but a couple of times she got behind me and put her paws up on my back and tried to walk conga style.  She's a goofball and loves to be loved.
