Howdy folks! My name is Jill and I'm just looking for a forever home where I can lay my soft little ears. Do you have room in your heart and home for a licorice colored cutie like me!
Oh how I'd love to spend the brisk fall days going on long walks, and hopping thru piles of leaves. Maybe we could even take some trips to the dog park where I can get my play on with other dogs! Or, even better, maybe you already have a dog that I can play with! If you do have another dog I'll do better if he or she is kinda laid-back and can tolerate my puppy-like shenanigans! Just thinking about a home of my own gets me so excited-- I can barely stop wiggling when I think about it.
I'd really like to take some doggie training classes so I can show you how smart I am, so lets get enrolled so I can start learning some new tricks!
And now a few words from my fosters:
"Jill, who we like to call Jilly, is all puppy, all the time, with the attendant energy level to prove it. She is still working on her housetraining and basic obedience. We are working on teaching her not to jump up and not to nip anyone’s chins or noses. Jilly prefers an airline style crate and needs 5-10 minutes of expressing herself before she settles in. However, she will go in to the crate voluntarily for a cookie, and if the door is open and she is not confined to it, she likes to hang out with her toys in there. She has a strong chew reflex. She likes soft toys best. They make a very satisfying ripping sound when she pulls them apart. Jill is sweet, eager to please, and will grow into a great dog, but a potential adopter will need to be prepared for all her puppy shenanigans and be willing to teach her all the things she needs to know to be her best."
So whattya say friend, are you looking for a new best bud to snuggle up to as the days get shorter and the nights get longer. Well then look no further! I'm your girl!
Like most shelter dogs, Jill may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Tanya at tanyab@luckydoganimalrescue.org
