Please know that Ohio Basset Hound Rescue is a non-profit organization that relies on volunteers and donations to continue to successfully operate. Please know that we GREATLY appreciate your help with transporting but know that OBHR cannot be held liable for any issues that arise during a volunteer transport. This includes damage to vehicles or property, accidents, or any bites etc that may occur from the dog being transported. We do not always know the full backgrounds of the dogs we are getting in and highly recommend transporters use crates to restrain the dogs in their care. We also cannot guarantee a dog will come with leash/collar on pick up so we ask that you have a few slip leads handy if they need to be used.
