Thank you for your interest in volunteering with The Little Guild. Our volunteers are an invaluable resource, and we appreciate the time you take to help enrich our animals lives. Once you submit your application it will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a date to attend one of our volunteer orientations that are available several times each month.
Special note for those wishing to walk Little Guild Dogs. We now require all dog walkers to attend a training session with our trainer on the proper use of equipment and handling of Little Guild Dogs. At the conclusion of the training you will be given a short skills test and then be certified to walk with our dogs. The goal of dog walking training is to ensure that each dog is handled and trained with consistency in order to afford them the most success in their chances of successful adoption. When you attend the general orientation you will be given the available dates for training should you wish to sign up, of course the training is free of charge - and many have found it useful information to have to use even with their own animals.
At the conclusion of the orientation you will have the opportunity to speak with the Volunteer Coordinator to finalize what your interests are, and to discuss whether or not you wish to come on a regular schedule, or on a drop in basis. Please be sure to add email@example.com to your address book to ensure that you receive our e-mail.
Please note that all volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, children under the age of 18 are welcome to accompany their parents but cannot volunteer independently. We thank you for your understanding, and for your consideration of our organization - without YOU there is not US.

Why do you want to volunteer with The Little Guild?*
Are you volunteering in order to meet community service requirements?*
If YES please describe what those requirements are.
In order to be considered for community service please indicate:
1. How many hours you need total.
2. By what DATE those hours need to be completed.
3. How many hours per week you are looking to commit to.
Your application cannot be processed without that information. Please note - if the number of hours you need are high volume, we may be able to offer you a PORTION of those hours with our organization. Our goal is to give everyone equal opportunity to do hours with us, and so larger hour requirements are sometimes not feasible.
We are happy to provide documentation as long as we are made aware in advance of your needs.
Please note that due to age restrictions community service hours for those UNDER 18 years of age will require a parents supervision for all hours served. The parent should fill out the volunteer application with the minor accompanying them. *
