Our organization could not exist without volunteers. As a private, nonprofit organization, we rely on the assistance of caring and hard-working volunteers in all of our programs. Volunteers who work directly with the animals can increase an animal’s chances of adoption by providing additional human contact. Volunteers also help us inform the community of the mission of Last Chance Animal Rescue and promote responsible pet ownership. The future of Last Chance Animal Rescue lies largely with its volunteers. We are all working for the animals. Volunteers are required to be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian if under the age of 16, review and abide by our volunteer guidelines, treat animals in our care with kindness and concern for their welfare and represent themselves and LCAR in a professional manner.
This agreement must be signed by ALL volunteers before performing any services relating to activities of the Last Chance Animal Rescue. This includes, but is not limited to, rescue contact persons, foster caretakers, transport volunteers, and fundraising volunteers. Please print and sign the agreement and send it by mail or FAX or deliver in person to the Last Chance Animal Rescue representative you are working with to save the animals.
Once you submit your application, we will be in touch. Thank you for your interest!
