This is an application to be a SuperHero Foster for ARR. When applying to this program, you are applying to foster one of our most needy dogs and to be a part of our SuperHero Foster Program. As an ARR SuperHero Foster, ARR will provide a $400 gift card monthly to you. Please read more about this program above before proceeding. NOTE: If you are not applying as a SuperHero foster, please fill out the regular Dog Foster Application on our site.

How much time daily are you able to commit to working through training commands with your new foster dog? Keep in mind, depending on the dog's needs, ARR will provide training recommendations from a professional trainer. This will determine the time commitment required and will be expressly communicated during the foster application process. *

Will you be available to travel to training classes in the greater metro Denver area or within a reasonable proximity to your location, on an as-needed basis?

As a foster parent, I agree to the following foster requirements. Place initials in box. *

An Animal Rescue of the Rockies (A.R.R.) identification tag will remain on the foster pet for the entire foster period and remain on the pet when transferred to a new adoptive home.*

If I need to return the foster pet, I will contact A.R.R. and keep the foster pet until A.R.R. locates a new foster home, understanding that this can take anywhere from several days to several weeks to arrange.*

All foster pets shall be provided with a secure area, including shelter from the elements. The fostered pet will not be kept tied or chained.*

Foster pets will not remain in cars unattended or unsupervised for extended periods of time, especially during cold or hot weather.*

The foster pet will always be under my control and supervision either on leash or in the confines of my property.*

The foster pet will not remain overnight in the care of anyone other than myself as the foster parent. I will notify A.R.R. if I need temporary care for my foster pet.*

I acknowledge that the foster pet remains the property of A.R.R. If I fail to return the foster pet to A.R.R. after an approved adoptive home has been found, A.R.R. will notify me by mail, return receipt requested, of the reclamation and ask that the pet be returned. The notice shall state clearly the circumstances under which A.R.R. is acting and state a date when I may meet with agents of A.R.R. to discuss the situation. After seven days from the posting of this notice, if I have not notified A.R.R., or have not accepted notice, legal action will be taken to retrieve the pet.*

If the pet is in such an extreme circumstance as to endanger its health or life, A.R.R. may call animal control in my locality to recover the pet on behalf of A.R.R.*

I hereby release A.R.R., its Board of Directors, and volunteers, from any claim, cause of action, or liability for any injury or damage to self, persons, or property once the pet is in my foster care.*
