Do you have any special skills that you can use for a foster animal? Check all that apply.
What behavioral/training issues are you not prepared to deal with?
Moving animals causes stress and should only be done in emergency situations as determined by Wags & Whiskers staff. Your new foster dog/cat may not have any training including, but not limited to, house training or obedience training. Wags has trainers to help guide you through problems that may arise. However, Wags will not move a dog/cat until all options have been attempted, which may include the two-week shutdown and/or crating and rotating. Are you prepared to foster a dog/cat through adoption?
Should the need for vetting occur, fosters must be willing to drive to one of Wags & Whiskers established vetting partners. Are you able and willing to bring your foster dog/cat to vetting appointments if needed?
Please list any questions or concerns you have, or any additional information about your household.
