Many factors determine which applicant will be matched with a particular pet. Our goal is to place all animals into homes that will best suit their individual needs and personalities. If you don't qualify to adopt a pet today, it does not mean you are not considered a good pet owner or that your home is not acceptable.
Pets over 40 pounds when fully grown will be preferable placed in houses with a fenced in yard, but no rental apartment, due to the high number of associations rules with pets sizes.

Adoption Fees:
ALL FEES are used to cover the pet’s medical/wellness procedures, food, and/or immediately used towards the shelter expenses that survives from donations from the public. As a non kill, we have many pets living for years under our care.
All pets will be spayed/neutered, tested, microchipped and dewormed. If too young, the shelter will schedule the remaining procedures with adopters. If procedures missing are chosen to be done at your private veterinarian, adopters will be required to send proof of such procedures to our e-mail.
