Thanks for thinking about adopting through Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue. This is the pre-adoption application for dogs, and is the first step towards adopting the next member of your family. Please fill out the application only after your have consulted with all decision making family members and you are all sure you are ready to adopt a dog. We realize adopting a pet is a major commitment, so think about that before moving through the application and adoption process. Note, we are a Wisconsin based rescue and only adopt our dogs in WI and surrounding states. We do not ship our adoptables.
Please fill out the form completely (double check that you have all the information we ask for) and click on submit at the bottom when you are done. The submit button is located just under the end of the form, and will not work if you do not have all the required questions filled out. If you don't have an answer for a particular question, just type something in the box to make the form work. If you are getting errors with your phone or email address, try typing the answer in versus using auto fill to make sure no spaces are put before or after your answer. When the form submits, you will get a success message online, as well as an email stating we received your application. If you didn't get the success message, please scroll up on the webpage to see if there were any errors in filling out the application. A representative from Bichon and Little Buddies will contact you when your pre-adoption application is approved. This will enable you to set up an appointment to meet the dog(s) you are interested in, either at our facility or at the dog's foster home. Final adoption approval is based on this meeting as well as a possible home visit. We do this to try to ensure the best possible match between the adopters and the dogs.
